Dropbox is great for when you don't have an internet connection.  It's nice to have a space for everyone to put things in one place.  Love the collaboration with my friends at other schools.

Google docs project.  I was intimidated with my group tonight because I was not that comfortable with Google Docs.  Sarah really was, and was really good at it!   I felt like I didn't contribute much.  Sometimes in these situations it is better to group people according to their expertise in the project.  I feel like I could have learned more by trying to figure out HOW to do things with people on my level.  Talking through things and learning through mistakes.  I just felt inadequate tonight!  :(

Skype was really fun with the Ranger.  I think the kids would love that.

Had to leave early for my daughter's Avalanche tryout.  She was offered a position on the team! YAY!  Now...I'll just be broke.  $$$$$=competitive soccer!

Loved the Twitter presentation and how the University was using it.  VERY useful and informative for secondary. I like the tweeting out assignments and the role play options. Still am trying to warm up to it as far as me checking in on it and following folks.  :)

Facebook in my classroom.  I do not want to know about what my parents are doing.  I like the blog option better.  I think as far as doing it back and forth  "education"  sources is a good idea.

Fakebook is fun, but not so user friendly.  I love how it can put the students in a historical figures shoes!

I looked up my hometown on Wikipedia, it's small, so there wasn't much info!

Class was pretty good tonight except for the HEAT!  Holy cow...I hope next week is better!

Learning about how to use a creative common license. (Let's call it CCL)   Interesting.
I like how some days I am super confused, but as the class goes on, and we get to the application part, I'm good!

Fair Use
That FBI warning at the beginning of videos are about fair use!  Learned something new today.  Amount is crucial to fair use.  You can't use the "heart of the piece."  Effect is a little more detailed, and legal terms apply, which is harder to understand.  Be Careful On the Web...That's the moral of this story.

Kidblog
I like this!  Will definitely use this NEXT year, and am excited to see how it goes!

I love Haiku Deck. I love edcanvas.  I love Jared.  HA HA! That last one was a joke, checking to see if you are REALLY reading this.   Anyway... I just need TIME!  I made a deck about signs.  Our Reading Street story this week was all about signs, and how important they are.  I know that my class will really like it.  They love anything with technology and they love when I tell them about my class and what I have learned!

Edcanvas...created a Parts of Speech "thingy."  I compiled all of the School House Rock videos that my students have enjoyed throughout the year.  I am excited about having them all in one place.

*I showed my class the Haiku Deck on signs, and shared it with my team.  They are VERY interested, and they want me to show them other things too.  It's fun to get everyone excited about all of this cool stuff!

I also made a Storybird for my class after looking around other tools.  THEY LOVE IT!
